The EBEN Integrated Model (EIM) is a systems-alignment framework that examines how readiness, behavioral constraints, and system levels interact to influence implementation outcomes.

Unlike traditional approaches that focus on isolated variables, the model evaluates whether change efforts are aligned across three critical dimensions.

Readiness

Change succeeds only when individuals, teams, or systems are prepared. Readiness includes motivation, capacity, and timing.

Constraint

Barriers—structural, cultural, or cognitive—can block desired behavior. Identifying constraints is key to effective interventions.

System Level

Interventions work best at the level where leverage exists—individual, organisational, or policy. Misaligned efforts often fail.
